Community Mental Health Council, Inc. (The Council) employs a diverse
group of individuals who perform as Psychiatrists, Clinical Therapists,
Case Managers, and Mental Health Workers. Currently, we have several
position vacancies and are actively recruiting qualified candidates for
the following:
Employment Opportunities (Updated as of October,

Position: MHP Case Manager (Full-Time)
Division: Emergency Psychiatric Services
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other mental health
related field. One to two years experience working in a mental
health setting or related field. Some clinical experience required. Must
provide mobile assessment services in community and jail. Must
have diagnostic and assessment skills. Familiarity with DSM IV.
Position: Crisis Therapist (Part-Time)
Division: Emergency Psychiatric Services
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other mental health related
field. Must be QMHP eligible. Two (2) years experience in a mental/psychiatric
setting providing counseling and therapy.
Position: Mental Health Worker (Part-time)
Division: Adult Residential Services
B. A. Degree. One (1) year experience working in a residential setting.
Experience with an adult mentally challenged population.
Position: Case Manager (Full-Time)
Division: Senior Connections
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field required, with emphasis on
Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling or Psychology preferred; or RN
Degree. DON Certification a PLUS. Minimum of one year experience
in Social Services. Valid driver's license with automobile
liability insurance. Bilingual English/Spanish Language preferred.

The Council has partnered with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology
to provide on-the-job training to students. Additionally, we welcome
